  1. The background music looks good when you go to the candlelight dinner with your partner.   2. The American Musicological Society is a venerable organization, the professional body gathering in professors and students of musicology in the US and Canada. When I was a musicology graduate student I was a member and attended several of their conferences. IdealJackets
